In search for new opportunities, Alcoa asked us to create a database detailing the vast amount of resources available on the competitive intelligence of specific types of technology. Our primary means of research for this project were internet sources, printed journals, conference proceedings, published lists, scientific reports and technology databases. Our results covered a wide variety of subject matter, from multiple organization types from across the globe. After months of research, we compiled hundreds of resources and contacts, categorized them into a searchable database, and ultimately, provided our client with concrete recommendations and leads to pursue.
